What
to do after connecting to BAMnet |
| |
Upon
your modem connecting to BAMnet's modem, you are now live
on the Internet. Open any web browser, such as Internet
Explorer or Netscape, type in your favorite website and
start browsing. If you are an AOL or WebTV user, see our
"how to use" directions at left.
Those
using Outlook or other POP3 style email browsers, see our
notes about email in the upper right "Helpful Tips"
menu on this page.

Upon
locating your operating system in upper left of this page,
configure your computer's dialup networking (remote access)
to dial one of BAMnet's numbers. See our Dial-Up
Number List for details on both Toll Free and standard
dialup numbers.
Linux
users: you will need to configure your device to start the
PPP session upon modem connection. DNS information can be
found in the upper right menu on this page.
